

The 2007 training weekend, held at Castle Hedingham in Essex over the weekend of 25/26th Feb, was a great success. Thanks especially to Colin
Mannakee for making it happen, and to the countless others involved.

CLUBNIGHT

Each Wednesday evening 8pm to 10.30pm at the Club HQ map: Navestock Village Hall, Navestock Side, near Brentwood. Come and meet your clubmates and hear the chat over tea (Alan's secret 'go faster' brew) and cake. This is the best 50p's worth anywhere!

CIRCUIT TRAINING
Circuit Training sessions conducted by Geoff Martin will be held every Wednesday up to Christmas at the Clubhouse starting on 1st October. These sessions will make riding seem easy! So come along, suffer, and get fit and ready for a bumper race season in 2009.
The fun starts at 8pm.


CLUBRUNS


Saturdays.
Meet at Blackmore village centre 9.00am. From 5th January 2008 the run will be split into two groups. Group A, led by Barry Ryan, will leave at 9.15 am prompt. Group B, (for novice and slower riders), led by John Phipps will leave 5 minutes later.
Members will be notified by e-mail each week of venues, pace and distance.

Sundays
A ride for racers and serious riders. 4-5 hours averaging about 20mph.Meeting at 10am at Passingford Bridge:

Meet in the layby between the roundabout (indicated by the arrow) and M25 flyover. Can't be missed.
Runs will be led by Steve Griffiths.

ATTENDANCE TROPHY


The Attendance Trophy is awarded to the member who earns the highest number of points over the year.
Points are awarded as follows:
(a) Clubruns, Cycling Tours/Trips: 2 points for attending each official Clubrun and/or for each complete day away away from home on official tours/trips with the Club.
(b) Clubnight (including socials): 1 point.
