Welcome to the Glendene Offroad page. The aim here is to keep you up to date with everything that's happening off the black stuff...up and coming events, news, results and information on rides out.

Weekly ride - A mixed group of Glendene and non-Glendene riders are riding from the Green Man Pub in Herongate, into Thorndon Park on a Monday night. Usual meet up is 6.45pm, riding for approx 2 hours at a steady pace.

Contact me if you fancy coming along, just to check the meeting time and place before hand. It's dark and muddy so bring lights, water proofs and mud tyres if you've got them.

Merida Marathon 2007 - Dates have been released for this years' various Merida Events:

14 - 15th April, Builth Wells (Wales) - Spring Marathon / Exposure Lights Big Night Out (Night Marathon)
12 - 13th May, Penrith (Cumbria - Cumbria Bike Fest)
22 - 24th June 2007: Aviemore (Scotland - The Outsider)
7 - 8th July, Builth Wells (Wales)
14th July, Bad Goisern (Austria) - Merida Bikes MTB Marathon Series ‘on holiday'
4 - 5th August, Selkirk (Scotland)
15 - 16th September, Ruthin (Wales)

Marin Winter Series 1 - Shaun Hurrell picks up another great result: a 2nd place for the 4 hour solo male, 16-39 category. Shaun in action here.
Marin Winter Series 2 - Four Glendene riders flying the flag: Shaun Hurrell gets another 2nd place, supported by Lee Wingate, Tim Bailey and Matt Anderson in 28th, 37th and 54th in the 18-39yr solo 4-hour category.
