2005 RACING HIGHLIGHTS

20/4 - Glendene Evening 10 Series Alex Dowsett beat the previous course record for the E14/17k (1 lap circuit) in a searing time of 22.15 - nearly a 31 secs quicker than the previous fastest time set by Murat Ozdenya.

22/5 - Junior National 10 mile Time Trial Championship Alex, Russell and Lewis fill the podium. As well as being a new club Junior Team record it also is the fastest team time recorded by any three riders in the club.

29/5 - Rutland-Melton CiCLE Classic (Premier Calendar) Matthew Talbot finishes 5th in the first race of this instant classic. The highest club placing in a Calendar event.

31/7 - CC Breckland 12hr Mick Gray accumulated 254.122 mile in the CC Breckland 12hr. This gave him 2nd in the race and broke Colin Mannakee's 1969 exisiting 12 hour record of 244 miles.

29/08 - Junior Tour of Wales Alex comes back from an impossible position to win, with star rides by all the team Juniors.
