Joe Perrett 2nd in opening prologue at Ster van zuid Limburg and 6th on GC overall

Joe Perrett was on the podium in Belgium after he finished 2nd (from field of over 200 internationals) in the opening Prologue TT in the top European Junior Easter Stage Race - the Ster van Zuid Limburg. Bob Downs (Team Manager) tells me that Joe held 2nd place for the next 3 stages. On the 4th and final stage, we (that is our Glendene CC/Bike Trax Junior Team of 5 riders - Tom Yeatman didn't travel over) missed the small winning break and, as a result, Joe lost 23 seconds, dropping to a final 6th overall. Notwithstanding, this is our best result ever, in Bob' s opinion, with David Nichols finishing 27th overall and the whole team finishing intact for the first time since our juniors have ridden this prestigious race over the past five years! In the rest of the overall standings, Al Murison is shown as 76th, Paul Young 81st and Josh Edmondson 85th. Bob considers this to be our best ever team result, with the boys riding once again versus some full national teams from all over Europe. Well done manager Bob, team mechanic Pete Edmondson and, of course, the boys themselves.
