Well done Jonny Bellis!
Congratulations Jonny!
British Cycling have announced that Johny Bellis has been picked to represent Great Britain in the Road Race at the forthcoming Olympics in Bejing.
This is a well-deserved recognition of his talent, dedication and hard work. Last season Jonny became the first British roadman since Graham Webb in 1967 to win a medal (bronze in the U23 event) in a Senior World Road Race Championship.
Presently in British Cycling's Academy, Jonny has remained a second claim member with us.
This is an amazing achievement for such a young rider to have come through our Junior team to become Glendene's first-ever Olympian. Hopefully, his achievements will enthuse and inspire our present crop of talented Juniors to follow in his footsteps.
