The junior team did very well in the Isle of Man Tour at the weekend - 1st Team, ahead of Holland and Ireland and all the Brits; Dave Nichols 4th on GC, Josh Edmondson 2nd in the points competition and on stages Dave and Joe eq 2nd on Stage 1 Prologue and Al Murison 3rd on final Stage 4. Bob Downs says it's our best-ever team performance.
On return the boys again rode at Ixworth and we got 123, with Josh Edmondson (who won last year's schoolboys race) going clear just after the start and staying away for a brilliant solo win. Dave Nichols was 2nd, Al 3rd, Oliver Rossi 5th, Tom Yeatman 7th, Joe Perrett 8th. In the 3/4s Mark Barningham was 5th. In the schoolboys Rob Yeatman was 3rd and Josh Green 5th.
