Another very good day for the Glendene team in the National 25 Junior event today. Joe Perrett won with a time of 53:07, Tom Yeatman 2nd 54:16, and helping them to collect the team award 15 year old Rob Yeatman with a time of 1:01:21.
The event on the B25/4 course just south of Norwich was held in blustery conditions, all three riders getting a good soaking for their efforts. Fastest to the turn was Tom Yeatman with a split time of 28:48, Joe just 8 seconds behind with 28:56. However, Joe gained time on the return leg, Tom having lost some critical training mileage earlier on in the season which showed over the last few miles. It was an impressive performance by the team, the result now joins the National 10 mile Championship as Glendene property.
