Glendene Riders moving on Colin Mannakee writes:

In October, as a result of his consistent performance in the National Series and his fine rides abroad in Glendene and Great Britain colours, Tom Moses was (one of only two) selected to join the BC Olympic Academy - Endurance Squad - for 2010-2012.
We are very proud of his many achievements for the Glendene Junior Team in 2010 and wish him well as he steps up to the international level he so deserves; he will join two former Glendene stars who are notably making their way with the current Academy Squad, Luke Rowe and Mark Christian, both of whom rode impressively in the Commonwealth Games!

Conor Dunne has also caught the eyes of new Academy boss Chris Newton and several teams abroad! He recently signed to ride for a Belgian team "VL Technics Abutriek" and will be based from February 2011 at Zottegem, near Gent.

Al Murison has just told me that he is about to sign for Asfra, another Belgian team, as he also tries his luck riding on the continent in 2011. More details soon. Finally, in the BC National Rankings, we finished 35th this year with 896 points. Posted by GlendeneCC at November 21, 2010 12:20 PM
