The Glendene Cycling Club was established in 1921 and is one of
the larger cycling clubs in Essex. It has over 100 members, some
competing in national and local time trials, road races and track
events. The club sometimes takes part in mountain bike and winter
cyclo-cross events, as well as weekly club rides, sportives and social
events.
Some members are just starting out whilst others are serious about trying to improve or compete in races. Many members enjoy just riding for fun or are aiming to complete a personal challenge. The club has lots of different rides and cycling opportunities, so you should find something in the Club to suit you.
We are a friendly club and are always keen to welcome new members.
